Hi Hi! How is your week going? I hope wonderfully. I am so glad summer is almost over. I know most areas summer is already over, but I am from Southern California and we’re still getting triple digit weather! ugh!
Anyway, it’s Wednesday and you know the drill…

So I did not like this book. At all. I found the writing to be quite dull and the plot to be a little confusing. I couldn’t follow and just didn’t fall into the story. Plus it was so sexist! I hated the way the made Peter Pan’s character so arrogant. I know that’s his character in the original, but when you age him up, it doesn’t work. He is supposed to be 16 (?) and still so childish. I don’t know. This was just not for me.

Now this book I ABSOLUTELY LOVED! I was so hooked in the story and the unique writing style! The files, IMs, emails, what have you…omg such an epic book! It did take me a while to finish it because I felt like I was reading so slowly trying to grasp each and every detail though. But so so so good. I am surprised it took me this long to read it because it’s been on my wishlist since release. But now I am glad it took me so long to read because I don’t have to wait too long for Gemina!

Once there was, and one day there will be. This is the beginning of every story.
Sefia lives her life on the run. After her father is viciously murdered, she flees to the forest with her aunt Nin, the only person left she can trust. They survive in the wilderness together, hunting and stealing what they need, forever looking over their shoulders for new threats. But when Nin is kidnapped, Sefia is suddenly on her own, with no way to know who’s taken Nin or where she is. Her only clue is a strange rectangular object that once belonged to her father left behind, something she comes to realize is a book.
Though reading is unheard of in Sefia’s world, she slowly learnes, unearthing the book’s closely guarded secrets, which may be the key to Nin’s disappearance and discovering what really happened the day her father was killed. With no time to lose, and the unexpected help of swashbuckling pirates and an enigmatic stranger, Sefia sets out on a dangerous journey to rescue her aunt, using the book as her guide. In the end, she discovers what the book had been trying to tell her all along: Nothing is as it seems, and the end of her story is only the beginning.
I REALLY REALLY HOPE I GET THIS SOON! MY ORDER HASN’T SHIPPED YET AND I AM GOING CRAZY!
