WWW Wednesday #21 | February 17

Hi all! It’s time for another WWW Wednesday! I completely forgot until I saw someone else’s post. Oops.

The Ws

What are you currently reading?
What did you recently finish reading?
What do you think you’ll read next?

GlassSword Blurb:

Mare Barrow’s blood is red—the color of common folk—but her Silver ability, the power to control lightning, has turned her into a weapon that the royal court tries to control.

The crown calls her an impossibility, a fake, but as she makes her escape from Maven, the prince—the friend—who betrayed her, Mare uncovers something startling: she is not the only one of her kind.

Pursued by Maven, now a vindictive king, Mare sets out to find and recruit other Red-and-Silver fighters to join in the struggle against her oppressors.

But Mare finds herself on a deadly path, at risk of becoming exactly the kind of monster she is trying to defeat.

Will she shatter under the weight of the lives that are the cost of rebellion? Or have treachery and betrayal hardened her forever?

I am so so so excited to be finally reading this! I just started and I am not far into it, but oh gods I am stoked! I hope I can get more reading in today since I’ve been plagued with migraines lately. 😥

5 out of 5 stars! Review here!

I think I need a contemp to balance out all the long books I’ve been reading lately, but who knows. I may just pick up Deathly Hallows because I am anxious! Oof, I don’t know. I also have been wanting to reread a few of my favorite contemps…hmm…

So here is what I am thinking

There you have it! Thanks for reading and I’ll see you in my next post!

Until next time,

Half-Blood Prince destroyed me when I first read it! I cried for so long! Mostly it was at the thought of having to wait a year for Deathly Hallows to come out and we won’t even go into what a mess I was after Deathly Hallows lol.
