A popular book or series that you didn’t like

Now this is difficult to explain because when I first read Divergent I really liked it. I was so intrigued and devoured it, but then I read Insurgent and didn’t like it as much. Allegiant? I don’t even like to talk about it because I thought it was way too much and Roth tried way too hard to make this series different that I was lost and confused. I am sorry, I know many people say this is their favorite series,  but I just can’t stand it. I haven’t even seen the Insurgent movie because I am so uninterested. Oopise.

A popular book that everyone hates but you love

I don’t know if this is “hated by everyone” but I have seen a lot of bad reviews for it. More bad reviews from people I follow than good. But! I loved it. Maybe because I read it when I first got into YA but oh well. I was very entertained 😀

A love triangle where your ship did not sail

I am going to steal Raven’s answer for this one because I honestly can’t think of a book or series where my ship didn’t sail. Or I just don’t care enough about the other ships as I did this one. I am still a little bummed that Alina did not end up with who I wanted her to 😦

A popular genre that you hardly reach for

Definitely Horror. Historical, Nonfiction, sometimes Adult fiction

A beloved character you didn’t like

Sydney Sage. I hated her when I first started Bloodlines and felt so awful because so many people loved her. But even while I finished reading the whole series, I still don’t like her. I admit I began to tolerate her more and liked her certain moments, but I don’t know. I am just not a fan. They only reason I continued this series was because of my love for Adrian ❤

A popular author you can’t get into

Maggie Stiefvater. I have read two series by her now and I still am not a fan of her writing. I enjoyed reading The Raven Cycle series because the story itself is fun, but I hate the writing 😦

A popular books series you have no interest in reading

This series has so many mixed reviews. It seems it’s either loved or greatly hated and I have no itching to find out for myself.

An adaptation you like better than the book

The movie was awesome! The book was okay, a little dull but the movie is truly fantastic!
